J Vigilante | Borali | Ron

Originated by Borali and his partner Ron Steiner, System Audible started as a DJ collective/party in 2005. It wasn't long before the occasional guest-spot DJ Jeff Vigilante (J Vigilante) became a permanent fixture, supplementing the System Audible roster and making it the three-man group it is today. Each brings something different to the team, which makes for musically eclectic nights - so don’t surprised to hear anything from Deep House & Classics to Drums & Techno.

In the beginning, their parties spawned from the basement of a small hookah bar in the bowels of Manhattan’s Bowery section. Known for the good vibe, great music, and that rare ‘underground’ feeling, their parities quickly gained a consistent following. As they grew in size & became more popular, they were able to expand their reaches beyond the sites of the Bowery.

To date, the four have organized monthly events all over the city including Pacha, Shelter, Rebel, Element, and Water Taxi Beach. In the past SA have hosted and collaborated with artists such as Danny Tenaglia, Antranig, Burchan, Eric Kupper, Onionz, Ivano Bellini, Timmy Regisford, Silverbull and Stimulus Response to name a few.

SA’s Goal: good people + the right environment + our music = a great party!

How did you get into house music?
My parents brought me up on disco, rock, reggae, dub... They had parties every weekend at our home, they still do! So I guess house is the evolution of that.

JVigilante

Name: Jeff Vigilante
Artist Name: J Vigilante

Musical Style:
House - Deep, Soulful, Ethno, & Techy!

When did you start DJ'ing?
I started DJ'ing when i was around 14 or 15. I was doing some mobile gigs back then, but nothing really exciting musically... just kinda getin' my feet wet. I actually found my way behind my first set of turntables because I was into a lot of hip-hop, scratching & turntablism at that time. It wasn't long before i ditched all that and focused my new found musical tastes and DJ efforts to focus strictly on house music.

How did you get into house?
I'd have to say that I always had somewhat of an interest in 'dance' music in general, but never really focused too much on it. And let's face it, even when I finally did start liking 'club' music... it was probably the corniest stuff you've ever heard!

My tastes slowly matured and beg
an to evolve. It wasn't until the day I was first able to step foot in Arc to hear DT spin... that changed my perspective so drastically and so rapidly that I had no choice but to get an education!
